Dr. Thomas Zeltner is the Chairman and interim CEO of the WHO Foundation as well as the former Secretary of Health of Switzerland and Director-General of the Swiss National Health Authority. As an expert in global public health and policy, Dr. Zeltner will share unique insights into the most impactful issue affecting human health today, the effect of diseases in the oral cavity and their direct impact on chronic inflammation. This combined with the use of foreign materials such as metals to rehabilitate lost tooth structures and lost teeth has created an oral health crisis of pandemic proportions. He was the former Secretary of Health of Switzerland and Director-General of the Swiss National Health Authority. He also serves as the Deputy Chair of the University Council of the Medical University of Vienna and is the President of UNESCO commission of Switzerland which advises the Swiss Federal Government in the implementation and future development of the National Health Policy.
