Lecture Topic:Clinical results and bioengineering of a 2-pieces injection molding zirconia implant system
Abstract :
This lecture will address the main benefits and limitations of a 2-piece zirconia oral implant manufactured by injection molding with 2 options of diameters and different prosthetic metal free abutments. Its bioengineering design, mechanical and biological aspects and will be described based with scientific evidence and proven analysis. All will be illustrated with clinical cases with follow up in distinct scenarios, as immediate and conventional loading. Clinical videos will also show in detail all aspects from the surgical and prosthetic workflows.

Prof Dr Bernardes has three books published in Brazil about oral implants, immediate loading, guided surgery and Dental Prosthesis applied to implants. His main research field is in biomechanics and clinical investigation, where he has international scientific publications.
